Jan MacDonald welcoming new plot holders

On a cold Saturday afternoon Jan (left) welcomed some of the plot holders who will be Group of new plotholders

getting the opportunity of new plot on the extension. This was their first opportunity to see what they will be taking on. Some initial work had already been completed with the trees having being removed form the new site.

Since then there has been a considerable amount of progress made with the new extension. Progress pictures will be posted soon. Once the construction work has been completed then there is plenty of more work to be done. This is a very exciting time for Mansewood Allotments, from being the smallest allotment site in Glasgow, we are growing and are welcoming at least 20 new plotholders to our blossoming community (sorry about the pun).
