| just thought it worth mentioning that I grew a nice winter veg 2010/1 - Brussel sprout "Petit posy" from T&M. Didn't think much to it at the start, but really came into it's own in Jan/ Feb/ March when if netted off from the pigeons it continued to produce a great crop of mini cabbages! The sprouts don't form tight balls; they open up like tiny cabbages, lovely deep purple & green colour. Quite nice shredded finely in a salad, good in a stir fry, personally I liked then just steamed - yum. Make great bubblensqueak of course. Don't take up as much room as purple sprouting broccoli! |

| if you've had any problems with your potato crop can you take pics of the plant/ leaves and any tubers please - hoping to arrange a talk on potatoes for the winter ( as well as a "potato day") would be good to have questions, especially on diseases. |
