This Autumn Mansewood Allotments, in conjunction with GHA, has funded a Basic Gardening Course with a gardener from North Glasgow Community Food Initiativehttp://www.ngcfi.org.uk/ 
 
The free course is covering all the basic skills and knowledge required to get started in a 'grow your own' project- be it a window box, balcony, garden, allotment or community garden. The participants are using the community plot to plant up winter salad and brassicas, green manure and next years onion and garlic crops. It is hoped that some of the participants will wish to continue to garden in the community plot after the course ends.
